Keep Calm and Remember: S.U.R.V.I.V.A.L

So, for Christmas I got a tablet from my parents (thanks again M&D) and, in my research on emergency preparedness I came across the U.S. Army Survival Guide app. Best. Download. Ever! If you're looking for something informative, easy to read and not super long - this app is totally for you.

Anyways... in Chapter 1 they give this mnemonic device of things that you need to remember in any sort of emergency:

I thought, not only was this very clever, but it was also incredibly accurate. If the zombie apocalypse hit tomorrow and I had to remember anything to keep my wits about me and help get me through, so far, this would be it. If it's good enough for the U.S. Army, it's good enough for me.

Stay tuned for more from the U.S. Army Survival Guide. I have no doubt it'll be incorporated into our preparation efforts quite a bit.

Click here if you want to download the app for yourself (that way you can read along with us!):
